Tasmania is home to some of the largest trees in the world. These giants tower over 100 metres tall and can grow up to 22 metres in circumference. Yet there are very few places where people can experience these wonders. South of Hobart, where a large proportion of Tasmania’s big trees are found, there are currently no places where tourists can visit these spectacular trees free of charge.
With your help, we can change that. The Big Tree State is a campaign which is determined to give these giant trees the glory that they deserve.

Help us make a difference
The Tree Projects is an independent organisation and we are almost exclusively self-funded.
All donations will help go towards protecting Tasmania's native forests.
How will your money be used?
A $50 donation will go towards building and creating the Big Tree State website.
A $100 donation will assist us in meeting with tourism and government policy makers to help advocate for forest based eco-tourism as an alternative to logging.
A $500 donation will help us produce visitor guides and run tours so more people can experience our incredible forests.
